Recently, the Pecan Classic organization announced that it will be parting ways with the steer show they have hosted for the past 28 years. This event has meant so much to the community and to the many families who have been a part of it. We are incredibly thankful to the Pecan Classic group for the memories and hard work that made it so special.​

With the support of the Garza family, the Marion FFA Booster Club is honored to now carry on their legacy.

We are excited to continue such an iconic event under a new name, Pecan Town Showdown, while keeping the same great tradition that so many kids and families have been a part of for all these years.
